Information we collect

When you voluntarily join Tandell Technical Updates, we collect the information entered in the form, such as your first name, work email address, and company. We also retain information needed to document consent, including when and where the request was submitted, the consent wording presented, and when the email address was confirmed.

The website may also generate ordinary technical records, such as IP address, browser information, request time, and error or security logs, through its hosting and service providers.

How we use it

We use subscriber information to send practical cleaning-science articles, new and revised Tandell Methods, Tandell Reference announcements, Tandell Academy course news, and occasional Tandell Research updates. We may also use technical records to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the website.

Submitting a quote request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. The current quote form prepares an email in your own email application; it does not store the form contents on this website.

Consent and unsubscribing

Subscription requires a positive opt-in and confirmation through the email address provided. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails or by contacting Tandell. An unsubscribe request will stop future marketing messages, although limited records may be retained to respect that request and document compliance.

Service providers and location

Tandell uses service providers to host the website, deliver email, manage subscriber records, and support related operations. Information may be processed or stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which a provider operates. Service providers are permitted to use information only as needed to provide their services or meet legal obligations.

Retention and safeguards

Subscriber information is retained while the subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for legal, consent, suppression, security, or recordkeeping purposes. Tandell applies administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
